Support Development Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Support Development Engineer will play a vital role in assisting the Engineering department at EnergyHub, focusing on technical support and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

In Short

• Identify root causes of technical issues.
• Respond to production issues effectively.
• Configure programs and data flows between EnergyHub and partners.
• Build dashboards to provide insights into opportunities.
• Debug issues using logs, data, and code.
• Contribute bug-fix pull requests to the codebase.
• Create and maintain Python scripts for data processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and clients.
• Work across time zones and cultures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to identify root causes from multiple information sources.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with code versioning tools like Git.
• Experience in debugging using AWS Cloudwatch, Sentry, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with 3rd Party APIs using Postman.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Understanding of Fullstack web development.
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem.
