Microgrid Mechanical Technician - Remote

Overview

Enchanted Rock is looking for a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Microgrid Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance on power generation equipment, ensuring reliable electricity for customers.

In Short

• Perform skilled repairs of various diesel engines and generator ends.
• Utilize manufacturer-specific software for troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Area Managers for generator maintenance.
• Conduct scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment.
• Maintain communication and documentation using current technology.
• Work in various environmental conditions.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience with Volvo Penta Diesel Engines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Minimum 3 years of Mechanical and/or Electrical experience.
• Preferred education level: College or equivalent training.
• Must operate company vehicles safely.
• Attention to detail and good computer skills.
• Flexibility for on-call schedule.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
