In Short

  • Conduct tests on DC microgrid systems to assess performance and efficiency.
  • Install and maintain laboratory equipment like inverters and solar panels.
  • Monitor and analyze data during microgrid testing.
  • Troubleshoot issues in microgrid systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in the lab.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and researchers on system development.
  • Assist in inventory management of lab supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 5 years of experience; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a laboratory setting, especially in renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits and instrumentation.
  • Proficient with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Basic knowledge of DC microgrid systems and renewable energy sources.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move laboratory equipment.
