Microgrid Mechanical Technician - Remote

Overview

The Microgrid Mechanical Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Microgrid generators, ensuring reliable power generation and customer satisfaction.

• Perform skilled repairs on various generator engines.
• Utilize manufacturer-specific software for troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Area Managers for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Perform inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure safety compliance in operations.
• Maintain communication and documentation standards.
• Work in various environmental conditions.
• Additional responsibilities as directed by management.
• Operate company vehicles safely.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Volvo Penta Diesel Engine experience preferred.
• Attention to detail in work performance.
• Flexibility to work on-call schedules.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• Computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
