Project Manager, Optimized Trials - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager (PM) is focused on project delivery, productivity and quality resulting in strong financial performance and customer satisfaction. The PM works collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to develop study specific processes, manage communication across all involved parties, create and maintain study timelines. The PM oversees all aspects of assigned projects by setting expectations and deadlines, aligning tasks with appropriate resources, and monitoring and progress of project to completion. The PM directs project delivery by driving team and financial efficiency, work product quality, and is responsible for client satisfaction through effective relationship management.

• Responsible for oversight of day-to-day study operations for assigned projects.
• Ensures deliverables are completed according to contract budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to execute study start-up and close-out activities.
• Creates and maintains project plans including timelines and milestones.
• Tracks project deliverables using tools and prepares metrics for stakeholders.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans for project delivery.
• Communicates effectively with clients and vendors to meet contractual obligations.
• Performs financial tasks including billing and project scope reviews.
• Hosts regular project meetings to share updates and performance.
• Ensures compliance with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements.

• Strong understanding of study contracts, budgets, and regulatory management.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and provide direction to project teams.
• Proactive follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Skilled in clinical trial terminology and practices.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security laws.
• Experience in hybrid/decentralized trial models preferred.
• BS/BA in Life Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
