Senior FinOps Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior FinOps Analyst will be responsible for optimizing cloud financial management, enhancing cost visibility, and driving efficiency across cloud infrastructure, working closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams.

• Monitor and analyze cloud spend (Azure) for cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and enforce FinOps best practices for cost governance.
• Collaborate with finance teams for cloud cost forecasts and budgets.
• Implement cost allocation models for accurate cloud cost distribution.
• Work with cloud providers to optimize enterprise agreements.
• Build dashboards and automated reports for tracking cloud spend.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for financial accountability.
• Establish governance policies for resource efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud financial management or FinOps.
• Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost strategies.
• Proficiency in Azure Cost Management and FinOps tools.
• Experience with budgeting and financial modeling for cloud costs.
• Expertise in Excel, SQL, Power BI for data analysis.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner or relevant certifications are a plus.
