Director, Commercial Operations - Remote

Overview

The Director, Commercial Operations will be a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team. This role is critical for the successful evolution from a clinical stage biopharma company to a fully integrated, commercial-stage biopharma company.

In Short

• Lead in building, activating, and optimizing commercial capabilities.
• Oversee business planning, forecasting, performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Implement key enabling capabilities for the sales function.
• Collaborate with IT to develop necessary systems and applications.
• Align with Supply Chain on demand forecasts and inventory expectations.
• Develop a world-class Commercial Training and Employee Development function.

Requirements

• BA/BS; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
• Start-up experience is important.
• Strong commercial understanding and sales processes.
• Experience with customer segmentation and profiling methodologies.
• Understanding of Oncology Rare Disease commercial aspects.
• Exposure to new product launches and sales force sizing.
• Knowledge of US pharmaceutical market dynamics.
• Strategic mindset with creativity in enhancing operations.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
