Market Analyst (m/f/d) | EU-Australia Partnership - Remote

Overview

The Market Analyst will support evidence-based decision-making for the EU–Australia Partnership project by providing high-quality market, trade, and investment intelligence related to critical and strategic minerals.

In Short

• Collect, analyse, and interpret market data related to critical minerals.
• Support the development of intelligence reports on supply chains and market dynamics.
• Contribute analytical inputs to project evaluations and investment-readiness assessments.
• Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments affecting critical minerals markets.
• Prepare briefings and analytical notes for EU institutions and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to recommendations for the EU–Australia Roadmap.
• Ensure data quality and clear visualisation of findings.

Requirements

• University degree in economics, finance, data analysis, international trade, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in market analysis or investment intelligence.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Knowledge of raw materials or energy transition is a strong asset.
• Experience with international datasets is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in an international project environment.
