Overview

The role of the Polluted Sites and Soils Technician involves organizing interventions, conducting pollution diagnostics, and managing logistics with laboratories.

In Short

  • Organizing interventions: preparing sites, managing subcontractors.
  • Collecting samples and measurements for pollution diagnostics: soil, air, odor, groundwater, etc.
  • Managing logistics with laboratories (requesting/delivering containers, preparing samples for shipment).
  • Managing equipment (metrological, maintenance, repair).
  • Monitoring decontamination sites as part of project management, supervising subcontractors and construction companies.
  • Participating in report production for engineers (sampling sheets, site cuts, intervention reports, analysis reports).
  • Additional tasks may include water monitoring reports, historical studies, acoustic measurements, asbestos sampling, mapping, wetland diagnostics.
  • Frequent travel to sites in the region and occasionally throughout France.
  • Possibility of being assigned to one of the sites based on your location: Montreuil or Guyancourt.

Requirements

  • Education: BTS, IUT, Professional License, or Master 1 in geology, hydrogeology, environmental chemistry, or civil engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in polluted sites and soils.
  • Advanced Excel skills and general knowledge of office tools are assets.
  • AIPR training and/or holding the Asbestos certification under section 4 is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (B).
