Overview

The Junior Safety Engineer will contribute to safety studies in the field of air traffic management within the Aviation entity of Egis, working in France or Europe.

In Short

  • Conduct safety studies necessary for the commissioning of air traffic management system evolutions.
  • Demonstrate the acceptability of risks related to the studied evolutions.
  • Analyze evolutions and identify hazards.
  • Research means of risk reduction and establish safety requirements.
  • Verify compliance with safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational staff, engineering teams, and certification authorities.
  • Work in dynamic and collaborative teams.
  • Opportunity to enhance knowledge in ATM and related safety studies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (BAC+5) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation safety studies.
  • Good knowledge of safety study methods and tools, ideally in aviation.
  • Operational and technical knowledge related to ATM is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EU regulations related to ATM/ANS.
  • Knowledge of software assurance standards applicable in ATM/ANS.
  • Strong writing skills in French and English.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
