Applications Architect - Remote

Overview

Egen is seeking an Applications Architect to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement architectural solutions for cloud-native applications.

In Short

• Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to understand requirements.
• Lead technical feasibility assessments and develop architecture for new features.
• Create architectural documentation including data flow diagrams and system design.
• Guide design decisions involving RESTful APIs and containers.
• Ensure alignment with Azure services.
• Conduct POCs to validate architectural options.
• Liaison between developers and customer technical teams.
• Participate in design reviews with enterprise architecture teams.
• Ensure architecture meets non-functional requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software architecture with cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with .NET Framework/Core and modern API design.
• Experience with microservices and 12-factor principles.
• Familiarity with Docker and configuration management.
• Experience with API management technologies.
• Strong understanding of data migration strategies.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
