• Lead the design and implementation of a scalable and reliable microservices-based architecture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering teams, and product squads.
• Guide the transition from a monolithic to microservices architecture.
• Promote best practices around Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure seamless integration of new architectural components.
• Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience, including 3 years in an Architect or Principal Engineer role.
• Experience leading transitions from monolithic to microservices architectures.
• Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, and cloud service providers like AWS.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and promote in-person collaboration.
