Overview

The Tier 1 Support Analyst is the first point of contact for clients, providing troubleshooting support across various IT areas and ensuring quality support for end users.

In Short

  • First point of contact for clients
  • Troubleshoot hardware, application, and networking issues
  • Handle help desk tickets
  • Provide support via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Assist with software installations and updates
  • Manage support tickets in AutoTask system
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary
  • Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base
  • Maintain a positive attitude during client interactions

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Degree preferred)
  • 1-2 years of IT, Help Desk, or MSP experience
  • Certifications in O365 Fundamentals and Azure Fundamentals required
  • Preferred: VMware Certified Associate and CompTIA A+
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Experience with Office 365 administration and Azure AD
  • Experience with VMWare
