Editorialist is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Data & Reporting team, focusing on transforming raw data into meaningful insights for business decisions.

In Short

Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark (Scala/PySpark).
Manage workflows in Databricks.
Create curated data layers for reporting needs.
Develop integrations with internal APIs and external data sources.
Deliver dashboards and reports using Big Query and Looker Studio.
Improve data quality and performance.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend roles.
Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, or Java.
Experience with big data processing and cloud platforms.

Requirements

Experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.
Knowledge of Google BigQuery and Looker Studio.
Familiarity with backend development and databases.
Experience with batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
