Finance Lead - Remote

Overview

The Finance Lead will own the financial and operating model at Edia, a technology startup focused on improving K-12 education. This role will involve strategic partnership with the executive team and cross-functional stakeholders.

In Short

• Own the company’s financial and operating model.
• Partner with GTM leadership on budgets and forecasts.
• Lead expense management and oversee financial operations.
• Support monthly close, reporting, and compliance.
• Act as the finance point of contact for deal escalations.
• Support contract negotiations in partnership with Sales and Legal.
• Own sales commissions calculations and payouts.
• 5+ years of experience in a Finance role required.
• Experience in high-growth technology companies preferred.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial operations, and accounting.
• Experience building partnerships with GTM leadership.
• Hands-on experience with deal desk and quote-to-cash workflows.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
