Lead Finance - Remote

Overview

As a Lead Finance, you will lead the Finance & Controlling team and take on important tasks in accounting, monthly and annual financial statements, and reporting. You will work closely with the Director of Business Operations & Strategy to ensure seamless financial processes that support the growth of our startup.

• Ensure efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Develop internal processes for cost control and liquidity management.

• Work remotely with occasional meetings in Oldenburg.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, controlling, accounting or comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-growing environment or startup.
• Strong knowledge in accounting (HGB) and controlling structures.
• Hands-on mentality and affinity for numbers.
• Proficient in tools like DATEV, Excel/Google Sheets, and Shopify.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
