In Short

  • Be the central contact and Subject Matter Expert for Human Safety Culture.
  • Reduce errors and their consequences to ensure optimal fleet operation.
  • Provide governance and oversight of business processes.
  • Execute improvement programmes and deliver actionable insights.
  • Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the embedding of agreed processes across the fleet.
  • Promote fleet policies based on industry best practices.
  • Assist in self-assessments and internal controls.
  • Contribute to strategic improvement plans.
  • Foster a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in any subject.
  • Degree in Behavioural Sciences, Human Factors, Psychology, or Change Management is advantageous.
  • Experience in Human Performance, Human Organisational Performance, or Safety Culture.
  • Ability to lead Human Performance Evaluations and self-assessments.
  • Solid understanding of human performance, human factors, and safety culture principles.
  • Experience in a power station or high-risk industrial environment is preferable.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical tasks and associated hazards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to sites throughout the UK.
  • Eligibility for Security Vetting based on residency criteria.
