Overview

The Associate Financial Planner at Edelman Financial Engines will assist Financial Planners in ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Perform financial planning analyses including retirement, investments, estate, tax, and risk management.
• Prepare presentations and supporting materials for client meetings.
• Conduct assessments of clients' financial planning needs.
• Provide reports on distributions, performance, and tax consequences.
• Calculate required minimum distributions and income needs.
• Maintain high-level client contact to enhance relationships.
• Stay informed about industry trends and products.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• FINRA Series 65 required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
• Certified Financial Planner designation preferred.
• Experience in financial services and insurance sales preferred.
• Strong understanding of finance and investment markets.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
