Principal UX Designer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a Principal UX Designer to help shape the future of our eClinical platform, elluminate. This role is pivotal in elevating the design maturity of the organization, leading strategic design initiatives that will impact multiple product areas while creating delightful, data-informed user experiences.

In Short

• Lead the design of key product experiences across elluminate.
• Help evolve our platform design system and UX standards.
• Lead the design of intuitive task flows and navigation structures.
• Develop high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Produce detailed design specifications to guide development.
• Apply design thinking principles to understand user needs.
• Advocate for research and evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to define requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain design integrity.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the UX team culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 7–10+ years of UX design experience.
• Expertise in designing complex applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design systems thinking.
• Proven collaboration skills with product and engineering teams.
• Experience in life sciences or healthcare is a plus.
