Overview

The Customer Support Engineer role at EclecticIQ is a hands-on role that works collaboratively to resolve complex technical issues where in-depth knowledge, applied skills, patience and precision are required. You will be responsible for conducting root cause analysis, successfully diagnosing and resolving various types of (complex) issues for our Threat Intelligence Platform customers.

In Short

  • Interact with customers to help solve incidents and problems.
  • Work with the Technical Solutions team to help maintain customer deployments.
  • Build and maintain an efficient professional relationship with Engineering and Sales Engineering teams.
  • Operate in a client-facing role.
  • Communicate with internal teams to solve customer issues.
  • Travel between EclecticIQ offices and internationally when applicable.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software product support and customer interaction.
  • College degree in an IT-related field or relevant work experience.
  • Advanced skills in Linux system administration.
  • Knowledge of internet technologies, network security, and SE Linux.
  • Experience in virtual machines and cloud computing.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
