Fall 2026 Legal Externship – Florida Regional Office - Remote

In Short

• Part- or full-time legal externship for fall 2026.
• Work remotely within the U.S. or from our Tallahassee, FL office.
• Assist attorneys with water, species, energy, and community issues.
• Learn about the litigation process.
• Provide factual and legal research to assist in cases.
• Must be a 2L or 3L law student.
• Must commit to at least 20 hours/week for 12-16 weeks.
• Unpaid position; must receive academic credit.
• Submit resume, cover letter, writing sample, and transcript.

Requirements

• Enrolled in law school as a 2L or 3L during fall 2026.
• Eligible for academic credit or graduation requirement.
• Excellent writing, research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with legal research tools, including Westlaw.
• Strong work ethic and initiative.
• Ability to work collegially and independently.
• Knowledge of environmental and administrative law is a plus.
• Interest in public interest law and social justice.
