In Short

• Internship position for fall 2026 at Earthjustice's Washington, DC Regional Office.
• Research various scientific questions to assist advocacy work.
• Work 10-15 hours/week for 10-12 weeks.
• Opportunity to contribute to comment letters, factsheets, and blog posts.
• Must be enrolled in a graduate program related to environmental science or similar fields.
• Experience with environmental health topics is preferred.
• Strong research and communication skills required.
• Position may be fully remote or hybrid from the DC office.
• Hourly rate of $27.39 for graduate students.
• Applications due by May 15, 2026.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a graduate program with an expected graduation date no earlier than December 2026.
• Background in environmental science, biology, chemistry, engineering, or public health.
• Experience with environmental health topics.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Outstanding research skills and ability to conduct scientific literature reviews.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must commit to 10-15 hours/week for 10-12 weeks.
