Fall 2025 Legal Externship - Remote

Overview

Earthjustice’s Gulf Regional Office is accepting applications for 1-2 part-time legal externs for fall 2025. We are seeking current law students who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment, and who are eligible to receive academic credit or fulfill a graduation requirement through this externship.

In Short

• Part-time legal externship for law students.
• Work remotely or on a hybrid schedule.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda.
• Opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
• Commitment of 12-16 hours per week.

Requirements

• Enrolled in law school as a 2L or 3L during fall 2025.
• Eligible for academic credit or graduation requirement.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic and initiative.
• Ability to work independently and collegially.
• Knowledge of environmental and administrative law is a plus.
