In Short

• Act as the first point of contact for patients and families, managing inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with nurses and physicians
• Process and manage patient referrals from healthcare providers and insurance companies
• Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic medical records
• Coordinate and follow-up on patient care plans and services
• Handle inquiries and provide information regarding services offered by Eagle Home Health
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient experience and continuity of care

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a medical call center or customer service role preferred
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and insurance guidelines
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients of varying backgrounds and ages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
