In Short

• Enter patient information accurately and timely into the electronic health records system.
• Verify the accuracy of patient information and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review and edit information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and healthcare providers.
• Perform quality checks to ensure data entry accuracy and completeness.
• Keep track of and report any data entry errors.
• Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot any system or data entry issues.
• May work in a traditional office setting or remotely.
• Full-time position with potential for overtime hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in data entry and/or medical record-keeping.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic health records systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
