Overview

The Scientific Portfolio Manager is responsible for supporting the national coordination of strategic long-term initiatives, tests, or services of scientific/clinical importance at Dynacare. This role involves defining strategies and processes to select, prioritize, and implement new tests and services, collaborating with various teams and ensuring successful implementation.

• Promote the functional activities of Clinical Development and Quality Assurance.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and assess market opportunities.
• Demonstrate impact using metrics and quantifiable indicators.

Requirements

• University degree with post-graduate training in a clinical scientific discipline.
• Project Management training or certification preferred.
• Experience managing complex projects required.
• Operational experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory preferred.
• Passion for Diagnostic/Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Pathology, and Genetics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Strong time management skills.
• Understanding of quality management principles.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Willingness to travel for in-person meetings.
