Drive design discussions and own the squad in implementation of automated solutions based on business-driven requirements.
Perform design and code reviews to ensure business requirement implementation is achieved without compromising on performance and standard processes.
Demonstrate DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development.
Encourage team members to adopt coding best practices.
Develop thorough understanding of applications and provide long-term automation solutions.
Coordinate with the squad to assess risks or dependencies throughout the development process.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
Min 10+ years of related experience.
10+ years of Active Development Experience/ Expertise in Java/J2EE Based Applications.
7+ years’ experience with backend technologies such as Oracle and/or any relational databases.
Strong database and PL/SQL skills.
Experience with Autosys, Orchestration ETL or Reporting tools is desired.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud stack is a plus.
Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills needed.
Proactive attitude and ownership of tasks.
