Billing Support Agent - Remote

Overview

Dreem Health is seeking a Billing Support Agent who will ensure that billing and insurance processes are smooth, clear, and stress-free for patients.

In Short

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients regarding billing and insurance-related questions.
• Provide clear and empathetic communication to resolve billing concerns.
• Guide patients through the billing process, explaining invoices and coverage.
• Check patient benefits and process payments.
• Assist with issuing and tracking invoices.
• Support insurance claim submissions.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records in digital systems.
• Collect patient feedback for continuous improvement.
• Contribute ideas to improve billing workflows and patient experience.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in billing or patient support (healthcare preferred).
• Familiarity with insurance processes is an advantage.
• Experience with Apero is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong empathy and customer service orientation.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
