Overview

SDGM CORP is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Agent to handle customer inquiries and resolve billing-related issues through phone and chat support.

In Short

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payments, and account details via phone and chat.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and courteous information to resolve concerns efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
  • Accurately process payments, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Assist customers with setting up or modifying payment methods.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and billing activities.
  • Ensure all interactions meet quality standards and adhere to company policies.
  • Follow regulatory guidelines related to billing practices and customer confidentiality.
  • Participate in training to stay current on billing procedures and system updates.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, billing, or a related role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using billing systems, CRM platforms, and chat support tools.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of inquiries efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
