Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Consultant (NIST 800-53) - Remote

Overview

The Dragonfli Group is seeking a Senior NIST Consultant to support its cybersecurity program. This fully remote role involves leading system security documentation, implementing NIST 800-53 controls, and managing compliance efforts using ServiceNow GRC, all while working during Eastern Standard Time business hours.

• Lead system security documentation and compliance efforts.
• Implement NIST 800-53 controls.
• Use ServiceNow GRC for managing compliance workflows.
• Supervise and mentor a junior cybersecurity analyst.
• Develop System Security Plans (SSPs) and Security Assessment Reports (SARs).
• Conduct stakeholder liaison to gather system data.
• Identify compliance gaps and analyze control effectiveness.
• Produce reports to support audit readiness.
• Ensure quality assurance across documentation.
• Manage client relationships in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of IT or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience with NIST frameworks, especially 800-53.
• Expertise in developing SSPs and related documentation.
• Proficient in ServiceNow GRC or similar platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
