Senior Security Compliance Consultant - Remote

Overview

SP6 (C3PAO Authorized Organization) is looking for a Compliance SME wanting to take the next step in their career! In this role, you will assist organizations in solidifying and strengthening their security posture while also conducting assessments for those pursuing certification.

In Short

• Lead cybersecurity gap assessments aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC.
• Support day-to-day activities of engagements for external clients.
• Assist customers in FedRAMP, DFARS 7012, CMMC, and NIST 800-171 compliance initiatives.
• Apply cyber compliance/risk management knowledge across engagements.
• Consult with clients to understand their business and security challenges.
• Translate security regulatory compliance requirements into business processes.
• Defend IT controls testing approach and perform effectiveness tests.
• Develop and deliver training to internal teams and customers.
• Establish effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Support the ASCERA product team with NIST continuous monitoring software.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of security regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience in conducting formal cybersecurity assessments.
• Strong consulting and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze security practices and assess effectiveness.
• Experience working with compliance frameworks like CMMC and NIST.
