In Short

• Work in large multifaceted customer environments
• Perform a wide array of tasks to ensure systems are secure, compliant, and performant
• Create quarterly customer maturity roadmaps
• Conduct system performance tuning and health checks
• Troubleshoot issues within the Splunk environment
• Implement and maintain detection capabilities
• Coordinate with teams to improve detection capabilities
• Document and communicate detection capabilities effectively
• Research and innovate detection and response capabilities
• Participate in Executive Business Reviews (EBRs)

Requirements

• Experience with Splunk Enterprise and app upgrades
• Knowledge of log normalization and data retention policies
• Ability to create and modify user roles and associations
• Experience in security strategy development
• Familiarity with industry frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience in custom script development
• Ability to conduct detection gap analyses
• Strong communication skills
