Overview

The Operations Leader at Freeport Stratton Ridge Operations will provide leadership support for daily production operations and process performance, ensuring a safe and optimized operation.

In Short

• Lead Operations Team to achieve zero injuries and unplanned events.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships and communication.
• Participate in advanced troubleshooting and coach others.
• Manage the plant budget, tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
• Support and coach on the implementation of plant work processes.
• Evaluate resource levels and adjust based on department needs.
• Ensure department goals are met, including safety and operational costs.
• Provide leadership and mentoring for operations personnel.
• Help the team become a Highly Reliable Organization.
• Work with multiple large and small capital project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent military ranking.
• Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
• Ability to work safely at elevated heights.
• Familiarity with safety equipment usage and maintenance.
• Legal ability to work in the United States.
• Preferred degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Prior people leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of operations/manufacturing/maintenance work processes.
• Technical understanding of large compressors and pumps preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Critical Standards preferred.
