Senior Product Counsel, Money Products - Remote

Overview

DoorDash is hiring an experienced Senior Counsel to join our dynamic legal team at an exciting time for our expanding business. You will be the first dedicated lawyer supporting our money products teams as we expand our existing suite of financial and payments products and launch new products to attract and support Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers on DoorDash.

In Short

• Provide solution-oriented advice and legal direction to various teams.
• Independently develop practical guidance on banking and financial compliance issues.
• Oversee outside counsel on strategic deals.
• Collaborate with other legal team members and partner law firms.
• Build playbooks and establish processes for legal advice.

Requirements

• 8+ years legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• JD & admitted to any state bar.
• Experience with banking regulations and financial services consumer protection laws.
• Strong communication skills to translate legal concepts.
