Overview

As a Senior Legal Counsel at dLocal, you will be part of a dynamic legal team, focusing on litigation and dispute resolution across multiple jurisdictions while supporting the company’s growth in emerging markets.

In Short

• Lead and manage disputes across Europe, Africa, and globally.
• Coordinate responses to governmental and regulatory requests.
• Drive enforcement and special projects workstreams.
• Oversee outside counsel and ensure actionable legal advice.
• Implement litigation operations and maintain document management.
• Advise senior stakeholders on dispute risk and strategy.
• Create and refine policies and training materials.
• Identify and deliver productivity improvements in legal processes.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (EU or UK) with 5-7+ years of PQE.
• Experience in complex litigation and regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with financial services and fintech frameworks.
• Confidence in handling governmental interactions.
• Working knowledge of litigation operations and data considerations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or another European language is a plus.
• Experience with European/UK regulatory regimes is desirable.
