PurposeMed is transforming access to complex care for underserved communities across North America. The Senior Legal Counsel will guide and scale its growing U.S. operations, focusing on healthcare, regulatory, and compliance matters.

In Short

• Serve as the primary legal partner for U.S. healthcare and regulatory matters.
• Oversee U.S. healthcare and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on HIPAA, state health laws, AKS, 340B, and multi-state licensing.
• Lead the development of compliance frameworks.
• Support regulatory filings and manage interactions with U.S. agencies.
• Draft and negotiate key agreements.
• Advise on partnerships and transactions.
• Build scalable legal processes for operational speed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Requires a proactive, business-minded approach with deep healthcare regulatory experience.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in U.S. health law and regulatory compliance.
• Experience advising telehealth, pharmacy, or multi-state healthcare organizations.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to navigate evolving legal landscapes.
• Practical, solution-oriented approach to enabling growth.
• Experience with 340B programs, PBM structures, or venture-backed healthcare is beneficial.
