Senior Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel is a business oriented partner to Sales, GTM, Product, Security, and Finance, responsible for leading complex commercial negotiations, maintaining scalable templates and processes, advising on regulatory and risk matters, and enabling predictable, compliant revenue while protecting the company’s interests.

In Short

• Lead end to end drafting, review, and negotiation of enterprise SaaS agreements.
• Prioritize and close high impact, time sensitive deals.
• Assist with review of procurement contracts globally.
• Partner with Sales and Sales Engineering leadership.
• Allocate and coordinate matters across the legal team.
• Manage high volume, quick turn work streams.
• Maintain and evolve the legal templates library.
• Provide practical guidance on regulatory and industry requirements.
• Build strong cross functional relationships.
• Work independently and as a member of a team.

Requirements

• JD or equivalent law degree and active bar membership.
• 5 or more years of commercial technology transactions experience.
• Record negotiating complex agreements.
• Strong knowledge of global data privacy laws.
• Excellent judgment and business acumen.
• Organized and proactive.
• Clear, concise communicator.
• Ability to work independently.
