Legal Counsel - APAC - Remote

Overview

The position is for a commercial Legal Counsel who will work with the processor's team while also supporting the wider business in a range of commercial and legal matters. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, flexible self-starter with a global outlook and collaborative working style.

In Short

• Provide legal advice to Dlocal’s contracts' team.
• Draft, analyze, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Partner with legal team members across the global organization.
• Create and advise on templates, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Law degree from a top-tier university.
• At least 5 years post qualification experience.
• General legal background in commercial and corporate law.
• Knowledge of payments and financial services or fintech is desirable.
• Ability to identify relevant business and legal issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively on international teams.
• Creative thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate calls across different time zones.
