Overview

The Senior Strategic Account Executive will play a crucial role in identifying and managing large-scale structured cabling opportunities while fostering key client relationships and driving strategic solutions for high-performance data center environments.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships within assigned territory.
  • Cold call and prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Identify customers fitting the data center profile.
  • Forecast margin results to assist in achieving sales goals.
  • Upsell core product sets to existing and new customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry and marketplace.
  • Create and execute territory management plans.
  • Collaborate as a member of the sales team.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer and industry trends.
  • Participate in sales and product training as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of structured cabling sales and account management experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in Data Center or Enterprise environments.
  • Skilled in solution-based selling.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
