Actuary - Remote

Overview

The Actuary conducts analysis to determine whether the company should issue an insurance policy and what the premium for that policy should be, managing exposure to financial risk for the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of actuarial experience
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL
• Intermediate proficiency with Python and R
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage large data streams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
