Language Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Language Coordinator will be responsible for building a high-quality dataset for African languages, focusing on community engagement and data collection for AI model development.

• Identify and engage native speakers for data collection.

Requirements

• Fluent in one or more target languages (Luhya, Gusii, Oromo, or Kamba).
• Strong reading and writing skills in target languages.
• Community presence where data collection occurs.
• Comfortable using Windows/Mac computers.
• Organizational skills for coordinating data collection.
• Experience in transcription or translation is beneficial.
