Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you will play a critical role in creating confidence and excitement by assisting athletes with their inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive experience.

In Short

  • Partner with athletes over the phone or chat to address their questions.
  • Handle Tier 2 escalation calls and chats efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships through clear and empathetic communication.
  • Assist with order management, payments, and returns/exchanges.
  • Utilize appropriate processes and online programs to support customers.
  • Take ownership of significant issues and ensure accurate logging.
  • Engage in team events and culture-building initiatives.
  • Be a positive voice and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to attend mandatory training sessions.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and TEAMS.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens.
  • Experience with IVR, CRM, or order management tools is a plus.
  • A love for sports and community engagement.
  • Stellar communication and tech-savvy skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt and work as a team player.
  • Bilingual candidates may be preferred for Spanish-speaking customers.
  • Ability to attend in-person training sessions.
