Sr. Full Stack Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for the application design, development, testing, and deployment of mission-critical applications for SEI, playing a pivotal role in assessing business needs and implementing technology solutions using an agile methodology.

In Short

• Design and develop modifications to the custom developed Sophia application.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project teams.
• Adhere to Agile development methods, including Test Driven Development.
• Recommend technical approaches for reliable and efficient code.
• Participate in the development of new software releases.
• Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for production issues.
• Provide level 3 support after implementation.
• Participate in ongoing development of technical best practices.
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Work experience of 5+ years in web application design and development.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Infrastructure.
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset.
• Ability to manage time and organize tasks effectively.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
