Payments Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

Booking.com is looking for a Payments Operations Specialist to join our Pay Outs Team, part of P2P in Amsterdam. You will effectively complete all payment processes from payments to vendors, affiliates, tax and intercompany entities, to monitoring the instructions are successfully executed and reconciled.

In Short

• Prepare all reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and covering the Sox framework
• Process pay-outs to vendors, affiliates, tax and intercompany entities
• Ensure payments are processed in a timely manner
• Reconcile transactions with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Assist with the month end closing processes
• Proactively work with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on processes
• Identify and follow-up on process opportunities
• Support with team projects for process innovation and improvement
• Build effective connections with key stakeholders within the Finance Department and IT teams
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant job experience in Finance Operations
• Master's or Bachelor's Degree
• Strong communication skills - fluency in English is a must-have
• Strong computer skills, especially with Excel
• Experience working with SAP is a must for this position
• Open-minded and flexible attitude
