Senior Systems Engineer - VMware Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Engineer to support TSA's IT systems and mission-critical systems through operations support, technology innovation, management services, system maintenance, and the development and implementation of new software solutions.

In Short

• Design and implement VMware vSphere virtualization solutions.
• Configure and maintain VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Monitor virtual infrastructure performance and optimize resource utilization.
• Provision, deploy, and manage virtual machines and templates.
• Implement security measures for virtualized environments.
• Create and maintain documentation related to virtualization.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.
• 7+ years of experience in the related field.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere features.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a VMware Engineer or similar role.
• Certification in VMware (VCA, VCP, or VCDX) is desired.
• Familiarity with VMware NSX is desirable.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• Must be based around Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
• Available for on-site work if needed.
