Databricks Platform Administrator - Remote

Overview

We invite a Databricks Platform Administrator to join our Data Platform team. In this high-impact role, you’ll own the day-to-day administration, optimization, and evolution of our Databricks environment.

In Short

• Drive the growth and integration of our Databricks platform.
• Get hands-on experience across the modern data/ML stack.
• Partner with top data scientists to solve complex data challenges.
• Manage and optimize computing clusters for data science workloads.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of analytics workloads.
• Build self-service tools to provision notebooks and clusters.
• Support audit and compliance for data governance.
• Coordinate with Cloud DevOps on AWS infrastructure.
• Monitor platform performance and build dashboards.
• Review workspace configurations for security.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Databricks administration or engineering.
• Strong Databricks workspace administration skills.
• Familiarity with AWS services supporting Databricks.
• Experience with data pipelines and orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Spark.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
