Overview

The Deutsche Hilfsbund e.V. (DEHIB) is currently in the founding phase, aiming to establish a nationwide umbrella structure that combines social engagement, economic viability, and strategic impact. We are creating the organizational, financial, and technical foundations of a modern, impact-oriented nonprofit organization.

For this exciting development phase, we are seeking your creative strength, methodical thinking, and passion for user-centered design as a Manager Product Development / UX & UI Design. Together with us, you will design products, services, and digital solutions that have a meaningful impact—clear, accessible, and sustainable.

Important: This is a voluntary position that is not subject to social security contributions. However, this role offers you the opportunity to apply your professional expertise, create visible results, and lay the groundwork for an organization with national influence.

In Short

• Develop new product ideas and user-friendly interfaces.
• Translate complex concepts into tangible, testable solutions.
• Create product and business model concepts.
• Develop sketches and business canvases for structured representation.
• Produce mockups, wireframes, and dummies for visualizing ideas.
• Create visual prototypes to illustrate core functions and user flows.
• Plan and conduct dummy tests, gather feedback, and analyze results.
• Iteratively optimize product design based on user tests and data analysis.
• Document and report all ideas, test results, and optimization steps.
• Engage in agile collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Degree in UX/UI Design, Communication Design, Product Development, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience in designing digital products, focusing on UX methodology and prototyping.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Miro).
• Basic understanding of business models and business design thinking.
• Structured and creative working style with a high quality standard.
• Enjoyment of agile collaboration and teamwork.
• Interest in social innovations and digital impact.
