Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting is a player/coach role overseeing two employees, reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue. The position is remote and open to candidates across the United States.

In Short

• Manage revenue accounting processes and ensure compliance with ASC 606.
• Prepare Standalone Selling Price (SSP) analysis.
• Streamline SOX-compliant controls and financial reporting metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting.
• Support ad hoc projects including systems implementation.
• Prepare technical memos for revenue and accounts receivable.
• Manage month-end accounting close process.
• Coordinate with auditors during audits.
• Develop and coach a high-performing team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 2+ years of management experience with direct reports.
• Experience in a high-growth industry with SaaS or Advertising Revenue.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Experience with financial systems like Netsuite or Salesforce.
• Experience with Big 4 accounting firms and CPA preferred.
