Linux Application Administrator - Remote

Overview

DNI is a Prime Contractor providing Systems and Application Support for the DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency). These roles can be supported nationally. We are looking for a Linux Application Administrator to join the team. This is a salary-based position with matching 401k and full benefits.

In Short

• Provide application support for COTS and GOTS software on Linux Server.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after hours and weekend support.
• Coordinate with technical teams for maintenance plans.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Monitor performance and prevent service disruptions.
• Provide application administration services and support.
• Manage web applications in Windows Server environment.
• Implement and sustain middleware application components.
• Apply security guidelines and ensure application integrity.
• Develop operations restoration plans for emergency requests.

Requirements

• Experience with Linux and application support.
• Knowledge of COTS and GOTS software installations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Familiarity with web administration in a Windows environment.
• Experience in security administration and applying STIG guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
