People Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

The People Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting processes and programs aligned with our People Operations strategy at scale, assisting with the Deel team member lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

In Short

• Assist HRBPs with document uploads, role changes, compensation updates, and offboarding.
• Program HRIS workflows to improve team member experiences and self-service options.
• Generate HR reports from HRIS and support analytics efforts.
• Handle team member support for employment verifications, access requests, and claims.
• Support Talent Acquisition with offer letters, contracts, and country-specific documentation.
• Ensure timely processing of offer documents and coordinate onboarding in HRIS.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Create contracts, amendments, and agreements for new hires and internal transfers.
• Oversee background checks and ensure accurate data input.
• Respond to internal team member requests via JIRA and provide self-service resources.

Requirements

• 2-4 years in HR, preferably in a tech company with remote work experience.
• Familiar with country-specific contracts, benefits, and compensation.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service and compliance.
